Lavers Hill

The Lavers Hill project protects some of the most pristine remnant vegetation on private land in Victoria. The Cool Temperate Rainforest hosts an array of rare and threatened and ancient plant communities that remain in-tact after thousands of years. Species such as the Otway Black Snail, only found in this tiny niche of the Otway Ranges, demonstrate the conservation significance the Lavers Hill site. The project also supports South Pole’s EcoAustralia carbon credit, a world-first sustainability bundle that protects remnant vegetation with every credit sold.
