Native birds card- The Gang-gang Cockatoo

A print of a stunning lino-printed design on high-quality recycled card. Originally printed on Roo Poo paper, contributing to this unique and textural design.

Katie Ree was inspired to create this lino print after observing a pair of Gang-gang Cockatoos tend to a nest in a eucalypt hollow by the entrance to Cassinia’s conservation property at Woodside in South Gippsland.

This property protects endangered Swamp Scrub, which is an important remnant in a highly fragmented and depleted landscape. The Cassinia team works to manage threats so that a variety of birds, orchids and other fauna and flora may continue to flourish here.
