Situated North of Wedderburn and spanning 340 hectares, the Wychitella is a revegetation and ecological connectivity project. Prior to our purchase, the property was used for grazing and displays all the hallmarks of an over-exploited, under-hydrated, and tired landscape. There is approximately 60 hectares of remnant sandstone ridge mallee and grassy woodlands. The property is the final missing link on the north side of the Wedderburn Conservation Management Network's Wychitella biolink. It sits between a Dja Dja Wurrung owned property to the east and a Bush Heritage block to the West; the project will restore and reconnect the landscape's ecology to create a biologically diverse and resilient conservation reserve.
