The Niemur project is Cassinia Environmental’s NSW project.  This significant wetland system on the Niemur river floodplain has been identified by the NSW government as one of the most intact of its type within the Red Gum forests of the Riverina. Now co-managed by indigenous partners, this project has also seen the direct seeding of a large area of formerly cropped land, building a 2000 acre (800 hectare) refuge for native species adjacent to the Noorong National Park.
